Pi Beta Phi Foundation is pleased to announce Margaret Merlo has accepted the Summer Internship position. Ms. Merlo is a current member of the Illinois Theta Chapter at Bradley University, where she is working towards a degree in Marketing with a Professional Sales concentration.
Ms. Merlo is a volunteer with Paws Giving Independence, an organization dedicated to training service dogs for people with disabilities, providing service dogs free of charge, and encouraging animal rescue. She was recently appointed Director of Fundraising and is responsible for organizing promotional and fundraising events as well as educational demonstrations.
Ms. Merlo will begin her internship with the Foundation on May 18, 2009. She will assist with a variety of tasks throughout summer, especially supporting the Foundation activities at Convention.
